Decay is a verb. Decaying is a noun. I sat on the porch smoking in the rain. It rained. I sat. Smoke came out of me. You can’t feel the filth beneath your feet wearing socks. It is summer. You are not supposed to wear socks. There is nothing else. A hollowed room. Deserted. Quiet by far. By next to nothing nothingness. The I speaks with silence. With the rain. The filth. The not so silent verbs. I am the nothingness of nouns. I am not.
